How to cancel WaveGuard services
No contract, no cancellation fee
Residential recurring pest control, lawn care, mosquito, and tree & shrub services from Waves Pest Control are month-to-month. There is no term commitment and no fee to cancel. You can cancel one service, several services, or your whole plan.
Two exceptions: termite bait protection runs on an annual renewable warranty, described below, and commercial accounts on a service agreement follow the cancellation terms quoted in that agreement.
Cancel online in three steps
Cancelling takes the same number of steps as signing up.
- Sign in to the customer portal.
- Open Plan.
- Choose Cancel, select the services you want to end, review what changes, and confirm.
You can also cancel by calling (941) 297-5749 or emailing [email protected]. The same terms apply either way.
What happens when you cancel
- Effective immediately for month-to-month service. Upcoming visits for the services you cancel come off the calendar, and AutoPay stops for those services.
- Completed visits stay payable. A visit that has already been performed is billed as normal.
- Visits already inside the late-cancellation window. A visit that is already inside its late-cancellation window when you cancel may still carry the scheduled-visit fee.
- Confirmation. You receive a text with the effective date and what stopped — and the same confirmation by email when we have an email address on file.
Cancelling some services and keeping others
The services you keep continue on their normal schedule. Your WaveGuard bundle level, and the discount that comes with it, adjusts to the services that stay. The portal shows the before and after before you confirm.
Annual prepay
If you prepaid for the year on month-to-month services, you have two options (termite warranty years follow the quoted warranty terms — see below):
- Keep coverage to the end of the paid term. Visits continue as scheduled until the term ends.
- End now and receive a refund of unused prepaid value. The refund is calculated per visit: the prepaid amount divided by the number of included visits, multiplied by the visits remaining. It is returned to the original payment method.
Termite bait protection
Termite bait protection is not month-to-month. It uses an annual renewable warranty, which is the industry standard: the warranty is an optional yearly bond priced separately from the installation. You can decline to renew at the end of any warranty year, and we confirm what stops and when. If your service included rented bait stations, we pick them up at no charge after the protection ends.
Restarting later
If you want service again later, we re-quote the property at the current price.
