Termite Treatment Estimate

Subterranean termite control is a long-term commitment — protect the structure, monitor for activity, and respond fast when it shows up. We quote the full program upfront so you see initial treatment, monitoring, and renewal pricing before you commit.

We measure your property — lot size, landscape, and complexity — from satellite and AI. You see the same number a technician would quote in person.

  • FDACS-licensed termite inspection (live activity + conducive conditions)
  • In-ground bait station installation every 8–10 feet around the structure
  • Quarterly or bi-annual monitoring visits (depending on plan)
  • Active-station response: bait swap + perimeter liquid treatment
  • Annual renewal pricing visible from the start
  • Coordination with WDO inspection reports for real-estate closings

Why Waves

  • Real station installation — not just bait pucks in the yard

What to know in SW Florida

Every city in our service area has active subterranean termite pressure — it's the single most common structural pest in SW Florida. Old Manatee and Bayshore Gardens have homes with 70+ years of exposure on pier-and-beam foundations. Port Charlotte's GDC-era slab homes sit in sandy soil that subterranean colonies travel through easily. North Port's Myakkahatchee corridor stays saturated for months, which termites need. Even Lakewood Ranch new builds see activity within 5 years when original soil pretreatments wear off.

Drywood termites are the other species — they live inside the wood itself and don't need ground contact. Older coastal homes on Venice Island and Anna Maria see the most drywood activity. Treatment options range from localized injection for a single colony to whole-structure tent fumigation for multi-site infestations. The inspection tells you which species, where, and how far it's spread.

Common questions

How do I know if I have termites?
Subterranean termites leave mud tubes on foundation walls, slab edges, and piers — pencil-width dirt tunnels that connect the soil colony to the wood it's feeding on. Drywood termites leave pellet-like frass (looks like coarse sand) below infested wood. Swarmers — winged termites — appear near windows in spring. Any of these signs warrants an inspection.
What's the difference between bait stations and liquid treatment?
Bait stations monitor for activity continuously and deliver colony-killing bait when termites hit a station. Liquid barrier (trenching) creates a chemical perimeter in the soil around your foundation. Some homes get one, some get both — the choice depends on construction type, soil conditions, and whether active colonies are already present.
Do I need a termite bond?
A termite bond is a protection agreement that includes annual inspections and guaranteed re-treatment at no extra charge if termites return. For SW Florida homes — especially those over 10 years old where original soil pretreatments have worn off — a bond is the most cost-effective long-term protection.
How long does termite treatment last?
Liquid barrier treatments like Termidor last 5–10 years in the soil depending on conditions. Bait station programs are continuous — stations are monitored and maintained as long as the program is active. Both approaches include renewal pricing in the estimate so you know the ongoing cost upfront.
How do you give a price without coming out?
We measure your property — lot size, landscape, and complexity — from satellite imagery, then run those measurements through our pricing engine alongside AI analysis of the yard. The number you see is the same number a tech would quote in person.
