This is a quick tour of what the Waves app actually does, screen by screen, so you can get the most out of it.
Watch your technician arrive — live
On the day of your service, the app shows you where your technician is. About an hour before arrival — the moment they’re en route — you get a live-GPS heads-up, so you can see their location and estimated arrival time instead of guessing inside a four-hour window.
It’s the same idea as watching a rideshare on the way: instead of blocking out your whole afternoon, you know when they’re close. No more waiting by the window or missing them because you stepped out.
You’ll also get a heads-up notification before they arrive, and a service report the moment they’re done.
See every visit, and exactly what we did
The Visits tab keeps your full service history in one place — what’s coming up and everything we’ve already done. Tap any completed visit to open its service report: what your technician treated, the products used, what they found, and photos from the property.
For lawn customers, those reports include your lawn health assessment — a score that tracks how your turf is doing visit over visit, so you can actually see progress instead of taking our word for it.
Your plan, your savings, your account
The Plan tab shows what you’re enrolled in, your WaveGuard bundle tier, and what each visit covers. It’s also where you manage the details that make service go smoothly — gate codes, pet notes, and irrigation or HOA information — so your technician shows up prepared.
Pay in seconds — and never think about it again
Billing is built to be boring, in the best way. You can:
- See your current balance and full payment history
- Pay an invoice in a couple of taps — card, ACH, Apple Pay, or Google Pay
- Turn on autopay once and stop thinking about due dates entirely

Notifications in the Waves app aren’t all-or-nothing. You choose which updates you want and how you get them. Each alert — new appointment confirmations, 72- and 24-hour reminders, the “tech en route” heads-up, your service-complete report, billing reminders, and seasonal lawn tips — can be set to a text, an email, both, or off. Traveling? Flip everything to email in one tap.
Loop in your spouse, tenant, or property manager
You’re not the only one who cares when the tech is coming. Under your visit’s contacts, you can add up to three on-location contacts — a spouse, a partner, a tenant, or a property manager — and they’ll get the appointment texts too. You keep getting yours; they just get looped in.
It’s the fix for the classic “wait, what day are they coming?” text. Add them once and everyone who needs to know, knows.
